Mango Season

This is what we've missed in Hawaii. FREE, FRESH fruits! We already have had 3 deliveries of mangoes from several different people. Plus 2 papayas and lychees. This picture is only a small portion of what we've gotten. Our kitchen sink would have been overflowing if we had filled it up with all that we've gotten.

Hawaiian pidgin word for the day: delicious = ono

OOoohh, truly fresh, juicy succulent mangos and papayas. I'm trying not to be green with envy. Eat some for me, please! Memories of Panama, picking mangos from the row of trees behind our quadruplex, flood my mind.

Hey there Higashi's! We miss you already but it's good to know we can follow your life through this blog! I'm going to keep posting a photo per day at theskyisbig.blogspot.com if you want to keep in touch with Pasadena!

I hope all are well.
